Reentry Simulation

Experience Reentry. Rethink Opportunity.

Returning home after incarceration involves more than overcoming one barrier. Individuals may need to secure identification, find housing and employment, access transportation, meet supervision requirements, manage financial obligations, and reconnect with their communities, often with limited time and resources.

Through an immersive Reentry Simulation facilitated by the Florida Department of Corrections, participants step into the experience of someone navigating the first weeks after release. The simulation offers a closer look at how quickly barriers can build upon one another and how difficult it can be to establish stability without meaningful support and opportunity.

Project 180 brings this experience to our community to build understanding and help turn greater awareness into informed decisions, stronger partnerships, and more effective pathways to successful reentry.

This upcoming simulation is intentionally focused on bringing employers, hiring professionals, property managers, housing providers, and other community decision-makers into the room.

Access to employment and stable housing can shape the entire course of someone’s reentry. This experience gives those who make or influence these decisions an opportunity to better understand the barriers involved and consider how their practices, policies, and partnerships can create more meaningful opportunities.

Space is limited, and registration is required.
